Growing up in one of Southern California's largest Homeowners Association, Stephen has a vast appreciation and love for California communities. Immediately out of college in 2005 he began his career in the management of Community Associations and moving into reserve studies in 2007. Since then he has set the standard for reserve studies and support services that have earned him a reputation of excellence in dependability and forward thinking.
Stephen is a certified Reserve Specialist (RS#175) with the Community Association's Institute (CAI) and a Reserve Study Specialist (RSS#48) state specific certification in the state of Nevada. As a reserve study preparer Stephen has completed over 650 Reserve Studies, Association Budgets, and DRE Budgets for community managers, board members, and real estate developers. Stephen is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics. Go Gauchos! |

Erik has been a builder and developer for 25 years and understands the components, assemblies, and systems which are involved in every project we service. He has the experience to assess buildings and properties from the perspective of someone who has also built and developed them.
Before joining SMA California, Erik ran both a multi-million dollar design/build custom home and remodeling business, and was a principal partner for a residential land development firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Erik is committed to bringing the most useful and accurate information to our clients to ensure the prosperity and long term success of their projects. During his career, Erik has been actively involved in numerous building industry and trade organizations and has authored several articles on construction related matters. His title ‘105 Essential Tips for Maximizing a Home Remodel’ was published in 2005 and has been sold nationwide. Erik graduated with a degree in Political Science from U.C. Berkeley and has since been waiting for the Bears to win a Rose Bowl. |
